인터넷 상에만 존재하는 암호화폐가 기존 온, 오프라인 서비스와 연계하여 실생활에 적용하는 실험이 여러 곳에서 시도되면서 다양한 모습으로 진화되고 있다. 이러한 가운데 터치콘의 블록체인 자회사 터치블록테크놀러지는 광고주의 콘텐츠를 스마트 큐알코드와 연계시킨 터치콘 플랫폼의 메인넷 발표를 앞두고 다양한 마케팅을 전개하고 있다고 밝혔다. 

 

광고스캔 랜덤보상으로 불리는 터치콘은 사용자들이 상품이나 서비스를 이용하고 상품에 인쇄된 스마트 큐알코드를 스캔하면 랜덤으로 자체 암호화폐인 터치콘을 보상으로 지갑에 적립해 주는 플랫폼이다. O2O 광고주 기업을 대상으로 SQC로 불리는 스마트 큐알코드를 제공하면 업체에서는 이를 자사의 상품이나 서비스 콘텐츠에 부착하여 이용자들이 암호화폐를 쉽게 보상받을 수 있도록 만든 보상형 광고 플랫폼이기도 하다. 실생활과 멀리 떨어져 있던 암호화폐를 O2O 광고와 연계시켜 이용자의 관심과 흥미를 유발시키는 지금까지와는 전혀 다른 새로운 생태계 조성 방식으로 주목받고 있다.

 

터치콘은 ‘랜덤보상’이라는 특이성을 갖춘 점이 특징으로, 스캔을 통해 포인트나 마일리지, 혹은 캐쉬백처럼 일률적 보상이 아닌 서로 다른 차별적 보상을 함으로써 똑같은 콘텐츠라도 때로는 1 코인, 혹은 1만 코인이 나올 수 있도록 해 이용자의 재미와 흥미, 기대감을 불러 일으키는 심리적 요소를 자극하여 젊은 층의 참여를 적극적으로 이끌어 내고자 기획됐다.

 

터치콘 광고주 컨텐츠 사례 가운데 나이키 및 아디다스 등 스포츠 브랜드를 저렴하게 취급하여 젊은 층에 인기 있는 중견쇼핑몰 ‘하하몰’은 고객을 대상으로 스마트 큐알코드를 1매씩 지급할 예정이며, 일본 후쿠오카 소재 ‘재팬드럭’과 ‘피콜로’ 맨션도 구매 이용자에게 지급할 예정이다. 한식프랜차이즈 안동국밥도 67개의 가맹점과 함께 참여를 확정했으며 온라인에서는 한국의 게임 및 퀴즈 업체와의 제휴를 통해 게임 및 퀴즈 대회에서 우승하거나 일정 점수를 획득하면 지급할 예정이다.

현재 터치콘 광고주연맹에 참여한 기업은 ‘카오리온 화장품’ 등을 포함해 약 30여개를 웃도는 것으로 알려졌으며, 한국을 비롯한 일본, 인니 등 3개국 기업을 대상으로 온라인 신청을 계속 받고 있다. 올해 연말까지 100개 광고주를 목표로 하며, 최초 베타 서비스는 금년 9월경에 실시될 예정이다.

 

터치블록테크놀러지 CEO 최창명 박사는 “터치콘은 암호화폐와 블록체인을 광고 마케팅에 접목시킨 최초의 플랫폼”이라며 “향후 암호화폐 보상에 대한 투명성과 신뢰성을 확장시킬 수 있는 새로운 광고기법이 될 것”임을 강조하고 있다.

 

미국 마케팅협회 공식 마케터 장진우 CMO도 “기존의 포인트나 마일리지, 혹은 캐쉬백과 비교하여 터치콘 랜덤은 본질적인 가치 형성과 보상의 방식에서 철저한 차별화가 핵심”이라며 “한국 및 일본, 인도네시아를 중심으로 새로운 광고주의 참여가 이어지고 있어 향후 광고 시장에 신선한 돌풍을 일으키게 될 것”이라며 자신감을 내보였다.

 

한편 터치콘 재단 관계자는 “터치콘 플랫폼은 보다 많은 사람들이 다양한 암호화폐를 쉽게 보상받고 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 생태계를 조성하는 것이며, 이를 통해 암호화폐에 대한 저변이 확산되어 생태계가 조기에 정착되도록 하는 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Cryptocurrency, which had been existed only on the Internet, has been evolving into various forms in connection with the online and offline services, and various experiments have been made to real life. Among them, TouchBlockTechnology(TBT) said that it is implementing various marketing strategies ahead of the announcement of the Mainnet of TouchCon platform that links the products and services of advertisers with Smart QR Code.

TouchCon is Ad scan random reward platform that allows users to earn TOC by scanning
the Smart QR Code which is printed on the products and services they bought. The O2O
advertisers are offering a Smart QR Code called SQC to their customers by applying it onto their products and services, and it allows users to easily earn cryptocurrency by scanning the SQC. It is getting attention as a new way of creating ecosystem that is far different from that of the past, and it motivates users to participate by linking the cryptocurrency with O2O Advertisement.

The TouchCon has its unique characteristic of 'Random Reward', which allows users to earn different amount of reward whenever they scan the SQC. This is whole new different concept with points, mileage, or cash back which gives an equal reward so that users can get 1 coin or even 10,000 coins. It was planned to stimulate the fun, interest, and expectations of the users and make them actively participate.

Among the cases of the TouchCon advertiser’s contents, the mid-sized company "Haha Mall", which is popular among young people by selling the korea sports brands such as Nike and Adidas at low prices, will provide one Smart QR Code for every customer. And ‘Piccolo’ mansion and ‘Japan Drug’ will also give SQC to their buyers. Korean food franchise ‘Andongkukbab’ has also participated with 67 franchisees. With a collaboration with Korean game and quiz companies, SQC will be given when users win games and quizzes.

Currently, the companies participating in the TouchCon Advertiser Alliance(TAA) are said to be over 30, including 'CAOLION’ cosmetics, and they are continuing to accept online application for companies in Korea, Japan, and India. Targeting 100 advertisers by the end of this year, the first Beta service will be launched around September this year.
